Nuri Sahin said he was impressed with the 

figure of the captain of Liverpool, Steven Gerrard.

 

Liverpool midfielder Nuri Sahin admitted he was  
honored to play with the Reds captain Steven Gerrard.

As you know, Sahin landed to Anfield from Real Madrid 
at the last day of the transfer window, and he said he
 was happy to be his teammate players like Gerrard.

"He is a fantastic player and captain," said Sahin told NTVSpor.

"He really paid attention to the young players, especially  
Raheem Sterling. I can learn a lot from him."

"It is an honor to play at his side."
